Hi Ben...and all the family.
Today, on this Good Friday, 2020, I stumbled across your news. I’m totally shocked and devastated to hear that your dear, beautiful & lovely wife, Sarah, has passed away! So young! I wasn’t aware that Sarah was ill, & indeed, I could not have known as it’s not a thing you broadcast glibly on any platform, when a loved one is so very ill. My shock is great to me only because I’m the only who knows how I really feel inside. I cannot therefore begin to imagine or quantify how you must feel right now about losing the Love of your life! The scripture says, “...every heart knows its sorrow (bitterness)...”.
Ben, I know quite a few people well in the Church of God in Hayes, but I didn’t know you and Sarah as much as others; one thing, however, that I know, is that whenever I saw you and Sarah together, I always say to myself, “what a lovely young couple”. I can think of and see you & Sarah, singing your hearts out at some of our large gatherings like YFR, CONVENTIONS, PIONEERS, etc...a picture of two young people in total harmony & love with each other...and with their God. Happy memories. What a loss!
So, Ben, I’m so very sorry & extremely saddened by your loss, but I leave you with a verse of one of our hymns...
IN EVERY PANG THAT RENDS THE HEART
THE MAN OF SORROWS BEARS A PART;
HE KNOWS AND FEELS OUR EVRY GRIEF,
AND GIVES THE SUFFERING SAINT RELIEF.
You are remembered & prayed for...take care.
Much love and God bless.
